Merits, Scholarships & Awards
A Merit Scholarship Award of Rs. 10,000/- is granted for 90% and above.
Fee concessions will be given to students who have graduated from schools under the aegis of the Devaraj Urs Education Society, Chitradurga.

Our mission is to expose students to all kinds of challenging environments and help them overcome practical hurdles, thus making them wholesome and fully intellectual citizens of this nation. We emphasize promoting and facilitating quality education of the highest standards. To achieve this, the institution provides a strong infrastructure, fully equipped laboratories, and a well-stocked library.
Devaraj Urs Education Society has successfully carved a niche in the education sector since 1983-84. With an impeccable track record of 40 years, the ultimate aim of our education system is to create a wholesome personality or a person fully alive—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Any lopsided development of personality is detrimental not only to the individual but also to society. As Vedic Rishis have rightly pointed out – 'Atmanam Buddhi', which means 'Know Thyself', students must develop introspection. To develop such skills of self-introspection, they must be encouraged to express their emotions and thoughts in words.

As Swami Vivekananda points out, the defect of present-day education is that it lacks a definite goal to pursue.
A sculptor has a clear idea about what he wants to shape out of a marble block; similarly, a painter knows what he is going to paint. But a teacher, he says, lacks a clear idea about the goal of his teaching. The ultimate goal of education is the discovery of the meaning of life and the fulfillment of life for all mankind as well as for oneself. The quest of education encompasses knowledge, humanity, culture, wisdom, and sharpness, but it should be noted that knowledge is not given but earned, and character is not granted but cultivated. The end goal of all education is to shape individuals.
